Nickel plated steel corkscrew with fly nut, this type of article is often called "Ménagère". It has been very popular in France throughout the nineteenth and twentieth century. The fins these corkscrews could have different forms. This exemplary characteristics to have a worm that round is not usual for fly nut corkscrews (note that are the same corkscrew BH marked with a full worm). Other remarkable point, it is marked "BH" on the basis of the cage. The quality manufacturing of this utensil is very average (see the stitching on the fly nut, the unwelcome in the collar of the cage). |
