Description

This corkscrew with double levers is French, it resembles to mistake there in Vogliotti (Cf. TB290) patented by Placido Vogliotti. “Pratic Boy-Scout” as for him was patented about 1920 per Alexandre Boy, although can be only the name is deposited. Entirely realized out of buckled and riveted plates, the system consists of sets of levers and articulations and of a stem prolonged by a full worm. It is very recognizable by the scout engraved on the bottom of one of the levers. It was manufactured in establishment FLAM in Lyon (France). It should be noted that there is a model with a collar folding as Vogliotti which was sold in a leather case. To use it, it is necessary to turn the corkscrew to insert the worm in the cork. Bought in the Rhône department (France).
