Description |
Small
corkscrew with full worm. The stem delicately worked on the top is profiled
in oblong form to a very short worm, only two whorls. The shaft is fixed
in the handle by a transverse nail, it crosses it to finish in a form
with square section, bored to receive a lady of the manor. The handle
patinated by the years is in stag of a very pretty form. It offers a
catch to two fingers. This corkscrew was manufactured Piquet,
manufacture founded in 1793 in Chandai. One can estimate the date of
manufacture of corkscrew at 1883 (bought in Loiret, France). |
