Description

French Corkscrew patented by Armand Guichard as No. 138887 on 27 September 1880. It is a superb model of steel and bronze with a mechanism screw borrowing a safe nobility. The hard brace solidarity rod, guided by the twin columns of the grid, prevents the bit turning when the ebony handle is operated to extract the cork. It should be noted that there is the same with mounted corkscrew with a bone handle. The short worm is a full point centered. Purchased in Saint Paul in Jarez in the Loire (France). Not to be confused with Le Parisien (See newsletter No 34 Adolphe Pecquet or Express Jacques Perille whose forms rehearsals are very approximation.
