Mechanical corkscrew

AP in a triangle with "Bte S.G.D.G"

Description

Corkscrew with flynut called “the housewife”. This corkscrew was very popular throughout the XXème century. The wings of these corkscrews could have different forms. That corkscrew manufactured about 1905 by Adolphe PECQUET is carried out entirely out of steel (without nickel plating). It should be noted that contrary to the Pérille corkscrews, the propeller and the shaft are not captive of the open cage. Another important difference appears on the level of the branches shape of the propeller which is finer and less ergonomic than that of Pérille. Bought in France. It should be noted that certain specimens were manufactured by its successor Boileau & Baradat (initial AP in an oval), Boué & Deveson (initial JB in a star) or by Jacques Pérille (initial JP in a circle toothed)..
