Description |
Corkscrew with nickel-plated steel propeller known as “the housewife” realized Jacques Pérille (1837 - 1903). This corkscrew was very popular very long the XIX and XXème century. The wings of these corkscrews could have forms. On that Ci one finds the initials of his shop “Au compas d'Or” initials which it will affix on all its production of corkscrews but also of articles of hardware during the first years of production. It should be noted that certain specimens were manufactured by Adolphe Pecquet (initial AP) or by Jean Boué (initial JB). |
