Description |
This corkscrew is made bt the factory Laurent Siret in Rochefort on the Loire. The manufacture of Siret is more known for these corkscrews in vine stock, here it was made conspicuous with this small corkscrew (3 1/4 inches) whose handle takes the shape of a barrel out of turned and ringed wooden. One of the ends is bored to receive a brush. But most astonishing is this superb conical worm. It is prolonged by a shaft punt riveted on the top of the handle to fix it. On the dish of the shaft L. SIRET Fils Rochefort (France) is engraved. |
