Description

Very beautiful english corkscrew with wire worm and sharp-edged point. The handle is in the smooth shape of barrel, two fine central scratches decorate it. Its steel shank discreetly worked on the collar. It is rather long in proportion of the handle, it ends in a beautiful wire worm with spaced whorls. The crossing shank is bored to receive a small ring which made it possible to hang the corkscrew with a lady of the manor (small chain carried to the belt). Bought in England at Trowbridge in Wiltshire.
