Description |
This is a german corkscrew with a spring on the shank, type Hercule. Although the basic concept of using a spring to exert an upwards pull on the cork was discovered by the English as well as Germans, the Germans seem to have been totally captivated by it. The frame is open and a shank is fixed by a spring ring. A painted wood handle is fixed by a side nail. |
