Description

Clough Single wire worm Design Patent No. D-30,234). Notice the button. Once you've inserted the worm as far as the button, it prevents the worm from further penetration. Turning the handle now will also rotate the cork, breaking the pressure seal between cork and bottle-neck. Twist and pull to extract the cork. Many of which were manufactured by the Williamson company.
