Description

This corkscrew of American origin out of buckled plate patented in the 1930's. It makes us think irrisistiblement of an owl from where its nickname of Hootch owl. A square section shaft is bored holes to be used as toothed rack with the two side levers. The worm is centered point. This model comes from Spain, probably manufactured by BOJ (B Olanta y Juaristi). With this corkscrew, when inserting the screw into the cork, you have to turn the whole corkscrew, rather than just the handle.
